At 38, Karlie Marotz brings nearly 15 years of nursing experience, a passion for aesthetics, and a deep commitment to exceptional patient care.
Originally from
k, Karlie made her way to California as a travel nurse, building a diverse clinical background across ICU, PACU, critical care transport, laser eye care, and flight nursing—including experience caring for patients aboard helicopters. Her career has given her an appreciation for precision, safety, clinical excellence, and the ability to remain calm and confident in high-acuity environments.
Today, Karlie is the proud owner of her own aesthetic practice and serves as a nationwide trainer for Cartessa, sharing her expertise with aesthetic providers across the country. She is also a passionate speaker and advocate for Epicutis, a brand whose philosophy and science she deeply believes in.
Karlie is especially excited to collaborate with Dr. Iraj Sabahi in opening a new aesthetics practice in the East Bay. Their vision is to create an atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, elegant, and luxurious—a place where clients feel genuinely cared for while having access to advanced technology and comprehensive treatment options for their individual needs.
Her areas of expertise include neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), EZ Gel, fractional CO₂ laser treatments, monopolar radiofrequency, fibroblasting, IV therapy and vitamin injections. Karlie’s approach combines her extensive critical-care nursing background with an artistic eye, advanced aesthetic training, and a commitment to natural, beautiful results.
She is eager to bring her experience, energy, and passion for aesthetics to the East Bay community—and most importantly, to build lasting relationships with the clients she serves.
